Inorganic Zinc Primer

Two-component product: component A is made up of zinc powder and component B of ethyl silicate and additives. It is used as a primer with a high sub-cellular anticorrosive power for sandblasted iron and cast iron products with cathodic protection. Recommended for use on surfaces and structures that could remain unused for a long time, in sea or urban environment, or for a later assembly. It also has a remarkable resistance to high temperatures: up to 400°C continuous.

APPLICATION TOOLS: spray-gun
HARDENING: Mix ratio by weight 1 : 2,2 with zinc powder (code 80022)
DRYING TIME AT 20°C: dry to touch 15-20 minutes
GLOSSINESS: matt
SPECIFIC WEIGHT OF THE MIXED PRODUCT: 2,62 kg/l
CONSUMPTION: for dry thicknesses of 75 microns 360 gr/m² is necessary
POSSIBLE RECOATING (AFTER 24-48 HOURS): chlorinated rubber, vinyl, epoxy, epoxy vinyl, silicone finishes, where polyurethane finishes are required an epoxy-based intermediate must be applied
